The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB,= www.iadb.org), in cooperation with the GSM Association (GSMA, www.gsmworld.com/mmt)1, has developed the program m-Banking for the unbanked. Its objective is to increase access to financial services of the unbanked in Latin America and the Caribbean by accelerating the implementation of mobile financial services (m-Banking) targeted to the unbanked.
