Dr. the Honourable Nigel Clarke is Minister of Finance and the Public Service and Member of Parliament for St Andrew North Western.
A businessman and financier by background, Minister Clarke is formerly Deputy Chairman of the Musson Group, a regional conglomerate, Deputy Chairman of the PBS Group, a publicly traded regional technology company and Chairman of Eppley Limited, a publicly traded asset management company. Over the course of his private sector career Dr. Clarke led and executed several significant financing and corporate transactions throughout the region.
Minister Clarke also served over different periods as a Senator in the Upper House of Parliament, as Chairman of the Port Authority of Jamaica, Chairman of the National Housing Trust, Chairman of the HEART Trust , a Director on the Board of the Central Bank and was the founding Chairman of an NGO that uses music as a tool of social change.
