The MSBM Business and Management Conference is open to academics, researchers, ngos, students, business practitioners and industry professionals who want to meet with peers, discuss similar business challenges, learn about best practices and glean insight into business-related research specific to the region and elsewhere.

Are submitted papers reviewed?
A
Submissions will be double-blind reviewed and should follow the Entrepreneurship and Regional Development’s guidelines available at: http://www.tandf.co.uk/journals/authors/tepnauth.asp.

Do I need to secure permission from all participants on a paper session and/or panel discussion before submitting a proposal?
A
Yes. You must secure a proposed participant’s permission prior to making your submission. At least one contributor must register and attend upon acceptance.

What if I miss a submission deadline?
A
Participants are encouraged to adhere to all deadlines. Please also make contact with the conference secretariat where a deadline has been missed (msbm-conference@uwimona.edu.jm).

Do you have a dress code?
A
The dress code is business casual.

Can I attend the conference without presenting?
A
Yes, all are invited to attend pending registration and the payment of the requisite conference fee (http://businessconf.msbm-uwi.org/).

I need a Letter of Invitation for my travel visa. What do I do?

Participants requiring invitation letters should send an official request to msbm-conference@uwimona.edu.jm.

What is included in the registration fee?
A
Registration fee covers: access to all plenary sessions, conference material, coffee breaks and lunch on conference days.

I need to make changes to my registration. Who do I contact?

Who qualifies for student registration rates?
A
The student rate is available to those who are enrolled as a full-time student in any degree-granting program. Your school may be contacted to confirm your full-time student status.

A valid student ID is required at conference check-in.

I have a group I would like to bring to the conference. How do I sign them up?
A
For group registrations, please send details (including: number of persons in the group, names and email addresses of group members, organization name, name of contact person, phone number and mailing address) to msbm-conference@uwimona.edu.jm.

I am presenting a paper and/or participating in a panel at the conference. Do I still have to register to attend the conference?
A
All individuals planning to present or attend the MSBM Business & Management Conference must register.
