Kevin Langley

Kevin Langley has been an entrepreneur since his days as a student at Louisiana State University (LSU). Since then, as a serial entrepreneur, he has successfully founded and grown several companies, including one of New Orleans-area’s top 100 largest privately held businesses.

Kevin Langley is the President & Co-Founder of Entrepreneurs Across Borders, a global non profit organization that helps high potential entrepreneurs in developing countries. Langley founded and exited from several companies in real estate, construction, environmental and energy. Langley generously shares his time and resources to help high impact entrepreneurs and various NGO’s around the world. He is a Board Member of Global Entrepreneurship Week and a founding member of the G20 Young Entrepreneurship Alliance.

Langley is the past Global Chairman of Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), having been a champion of the organization and its members for many years. In his role as returning EO New Orleans chapter President, he successfully led the recovery of the chapter after Hurricane Katrina, and organized and launched EO’s Accelerator program.  Accelerator helps grow early-stage entrepreneurial ventures into companies earning more than $1 million (US) in annual revenue. The program helped thousands of early stage entrepreneurs grow their businesses in 50 cities in 25 countries.  He also served as Chair of the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards.

In 2009, he represented the United States at the G8 Youth Entrepreneurship Summit in Stressa, Italy.  He also served as the President of the G20 Youth Entrepreneurship Alliance (YEA) United States delegation in:  2010 Ottawa, Canada; 2011 Nice, France; 2012 Mexico City, Mexico; 2013 Moscow, Russia; 2014 Sydney, Australia; 2015 Istanbul, Turkey and 2016 Beijing, China.

Various governments and NGO’s have also asked him to serve as an advisor for their entrepreneurial ecosystems.  Langley wrote a White Paper for the United Nations Millennium Development Campaign entitled “The United Nations Post 2015 Agenda: Entrepreneurship’s Critical Role.”  He was appointed by the Governor of his home state as a Louisiana Economic Development Ambassador and served on the Louisiana Board of Commerce and Industry and the Louisiana Innovation Council.  Langley also served as a GEP Entrepreneurial Delegate for the U.S. Department of State in various countries around the world.

Langley is frequently asked to speak about entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial ecosystems at global conferences and is a guest lecturer at many universities.  He serves on the LSU Honors College Advisory Board, the LSU Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute at the university where he earned his Bachelors degree.
