The workshop will involve highly interactive sessions drawing heavily on the experiences of the participants and on “real life” events from which risk governance lessons can be drawn. It takes a non-quantitative approach focusing on the oversight role to be taken by a director. The sessions will focus on two main areas: (i) how a board can build firm value by astute risk taking; and (ii) how behavioural and organizational dysfunctions can distort a board’s decisions on risk taking. The sessions are tailored for current and potential corporate directors.
Duration: 1-1/2 days.
